If you live in California, then there is an important news that may affect you: the state is going to impose the new 90-day foreclosure moratorium starting this Monday, June 15. Here is what Sacramento Bee says about  the California foreclosure moratorium:

After a severe economic storm of more than 365,000 California foreclosures since early 2007, the state’s long-awaited 90-day foreclosure moratorium law goes into effect Monday.

Backers say it will make lenders try harder to keep borrowers in homes. Starting Monday, loan servicers must prove to the state they have comprehensive loan modification programs in place – or be denied rights to foreclose on their own schedules.

Anna Nordqvist has just won Ladies’ British Open Amateur. Anna Nordqvist is a Swedish rookie golfer who was born in 1987. But, despite being only 22 years old, she already won the Ladies’ British Open Amateur. Even more amazing is the fact that the tournament, located at North Berwick Golf Club in Scotland, is only the fifth tournament she participates in.

I don’t know about you, but it’s always exciting for me to see new stars rising. Since she still has a lot of time to advance her career, I expect to hear more news about her in the future.

A Bomb Exploded in Dera Ismail Khan – Pakistan

A bomb just exploded in the city Dera Ismail Khan, North West Frontier Province, Pakistan. The bomb killed eight people while twenty other people injured. This bomb is an indication that Pakistan’s effort to demolish the Taliban militants there meets heavy resistance.

Of course, our hope is this won’t change the tone of the Pakistani government toward terrorism. Despite the retaliation attacks, Pakistani government should keep their strong attitude toward terrorism.

Do you know that Susan Boyle has joined the Britain’s Got Talent live tour? While previous she wasn’t expected to join the tour due to exhaustion, it seems that she changed her mind in the last minutes. Here is how BBC reported it:

Susan Boyle went on stage as part of the Britain’s Got Talent live tour’s first night in Birmingham – after a last minute decision.

She appeared during the second half of the show at the National Indoor Arena and blew a kiss to screaming fans.

The singer performed I Dreamed A Dream and Memory from the musicals Les Miserables and Cats respectively.

Susan Boyle’s tour is a good chance for her fans to see her performance live.
