This is difficult to believe but it’s true: wrong embryo implanted to an Ohio woman. The woman and her husband already had three children and they wanted to have a fourth one. But because of medical conditions, they decided to have the child through IVF. Everything seemed to go well and she went pregnant. But about three months into pregnancy she got the news that she was implanted with the wrong embryo.
It’s difficult to imagine how she and her family could go through this fatal mistake. But she made it. She decided to keep the baby and later hand it over to the biological parent.
I hope this kind of situation will never happen again in the future. It’s a very, very bad thing for those who are involved. Having the wrong embryo implanted is something that must never happen.
